I've been in an arts and crafts kind of mood lately. Such a fun way to end the summer!
Finally finished the blanket I was making! and I am happy to report that at the fabric store today all the roomies bought fleece to make blankets too! And we got fabric to make pillow covers for the couch pillows :)
Then with E's help I made my own little bookshelf thingamabob! wood for $.50 is win! I saved a ton by not buying the shelf with holes in it and E showed me how to screw in the holes w/o using a drill. whoo! my aptmates are so resourceful =)

Proud New Owner of a typewriter = )
Last week I bid on and bought a typewriter! (that looks something like this ) tehehe I can't wait to get it in the mail :) I think I'll use it to send legit snail mail and type out captions for my scrapbook.
In other news- I'm diggin Whitney Houston's new single.
